As I can handle a backstrap warp now reasonably well, I got questions from weavers that use looms.
Like: Is that a twill? That looks like tabby! How do you beam up on that?
And to be honest, I could not answer those questions. Because the language of weavers that use looms, I am not well versed in.
Therefore, I decided to learn to weave on a loom too.
At the moment, I weave a scarf. The pattern came into my mind when I had set up the warp. I figured out how to weave the waves and offset squares I wanted and made a propper drawdown. I think I will continue a bit with this pattern, and make the ‘wave’ sections of different lengths.
