I had been given a nice stone spindle whorl, and I wanted to make a small bag for that.
So I tried some joining stitches like those used in Andean weaving to sew some of my Jakima into a small strip of cloth.
I had not enough jakima to make the bag wide enough, so I wove another T’anka Ch’oro jakima to use as sides and handle.

This post is part of my chronological visual record of what I learned to weave, the Andean way, at Franquemont University. This little bag I finished on November 29, 2022.
