Every evening, I like to spin some cotton on spindles. Just to relax and built the skill.
The spindles have shafts/sticks I whittled myself. They fit my hands better and are easier to flick because they are less smooth.
The shafts are made of 8mm bamboo dowels. As spindle support I use a homemade FIMO-clay leave with a dent in it. The bamboo and this clay work well together to get fast rotation.
